Rain, rain...

030/365
It's been raining the last two days.
I've had a rough couple of days. It's nice to have someone to cry with.
Thanks sky.

All three...

029/365

Really having a hard week.
Emotionally drained, weird things coming up, really bad timing.
I love these little sun spots.
They have made the week hard but also brought lots of sunshine too.

They were watching people play with play dough sets on youtube. Why play with your own playdough sets when you can watch an adult do it?
So weird. Any picture with all three of them is my favorite.

Practicing...

027/365

In long round about way I came into possession of my grandmother's piano. It's the coolest. This piano has been this awesome for as long as I can remember. If I had time and money I would get it fixed up and tuned and all back to itself and I would take lessons. As it is, I have been sitting here at this piano practicing my ukulele, and even though it's not playing the piano I have felt a little closer to my grandma.
I saw a home video of my grandma getting a ukulele for Christmas one year. It makes me happy to think that we both play.

Puppy Sitting...

026/365
It's been a ruff couple of days.
Hoping tomorrow will be better, and that I won't get peed on. Or my bed...again.

Yogurt...It's a love affair...

Aloe Vera flower...

024/365
The other day we were driving down the road and hit a tumbleweed. Somehow that started a google search and we found out that tumbleweeds are not native to our country let alone our West. To think something so iconic is not even native to our land. It's actually called Russian Thistle. Apparently seeds came over in shipments of grain from Russia. This picture is of Aloe Vera, not a tumbleweed. And now you know the rest of the story.

I was sitting outside trying to catch a humming bird that lets you get pretty close to him. I wanted to see if he would visit these flowers while I was there and he did, but I had the boy with me and the wrong lens. I am planning another stake out.
He's the same one that flew up to me and looked into my soul. He's a brave soul.

Purple and puppies...

023/365

I ran out of purple, and it was sad. I contemplated buying a whole new skein just to finish this measly row, but that kind of ruined the romance. See, the idea was to make the blanket to use up what I had, buying more seemed like cheating.
So a wrestled my tub o yarn out of my closet and low and behold, I had more! Never fear people of blog land, I will continue to make this never ending rainbow blanket of goodness.

Also, these. I have such a hard time deciding sometimes.

Sharing is caring...

022/365

I just have to brag on this boy for a minute. He is the best at sharing. He really is. I mean, he has his moments as all kids do but he is so willing to share and try to make others happy. Today moonpie was upset that he had already had his time on the tablet and the boy was getting his turn. I told moonpie that it was his brothers turn and the boy immediately turned around and said, "He can play with me mom, you wanna play with me brother? Come on!"
Love that boy of mine.

Soldier boy...

018/365
I thought I would take pictures of something that didn't move much. You know, so I could really figure out what in the heck I am doing with my camera.
The thing is, if a kid who more often than not tries to escape the camera is suddenly in front of it and cooperating. You go with it. Plus, pictures of people I love are so much better than ones without people I love.

This awesome hat is one his daddy bought for him at the air museum. He's had a backpack and a cape to be his parachute.
I love this boy and his imagination.

Air museum...

017/365

We went to visit the Commemorative Air force Airbase Arizona.
As you can see this plane was the hit of the day.
We got to see this one taxi in.

They let us go into the Sentimental Journey which was kind of crazy with little kids. It is pretty amazing. I can't imagine being in that plane while it was moving. There was a tiny catwalk between the bombs. It was super cool.

The kids did really great, we spent probably an hour and half there.
The yellow plane of contention.
You should go, we recommend it.

Decisions, decisions...

016/365
I had a hard time deciding today.
He's listening to the "seaweed" in the seashell.
It must not have any good jokes...
This girly kept telling me she was cold, so we did something about it.
And this guy? He keeps me on my toes, that's for sure.

Baby Titus...

013/365

Grandma and Grandpa brought baby Titus to play. It's fun to see one of Ellie's puppies as it grows. He's so cute. He will always and forever be baby Titus at our house.
I couldn't decided which I liked best. Your welcome.

Christmas may be over but...

012/365

This boy isn't having any of it. Neither are his siblings. We have watched Rudolph and Frosty at least once a day.
The boy told me he really wanted to be authentically Santa, he needed a beard. I told him when the twins were down for their nap I would be happy to do that for him. He watched me make the beard, asking every two minutes if I was done yet.
He was so excited. It's nice to be appreciated. :)

011/365
When I pulled the plug he said, "Mom! No! He needs the water to liiiiiiiiiiiiivvvvvveeeeee! He's my best friend!"

It's a hate/hate relationship...

010/365

I didn't have my camera when my kids, oldest wearing his superman cape held hands and walked into the grocery store.
I did have it to document the fact that I can't sew a straight line. Look at that wad of thread. It's really disgraceful. I am turning my comforter into a duvet.
Hopefully no one looks too close.

I played my ukulele for my friend while she sang a musical number at a baptism today.  I was worried I would cough through the whole thing but instead I just messed up a whole bunch of times. I think the moral of the story is I can practice and do fine on my own but I cave under pressure. The heart of champion, I do not possess and maybe that is okay. I am not sure I will be having any more performances though. I didn't cough but I choked for sure.
Sad day. :(

Protoge'...

008/365

The boys ran outside to play. This girl ran out with her camera. I guess she has been watching her mama.
