Halloween!

304/365

We were not the only Peter Pan themed family but in my very biased opinion we were the cutest!

Park Day...

303/365

Park day gone splash pad.
Doodle kept pulling her pants down at the park and I finally realized it was because she wanted to go play in the water.
Message received.

silhouette...

300/365

I am often invited to view plays in the boys room.
This one was a mix of Cat in the hat, seussical the musical and a PSA on gun safety.

Owlsa

299/365

Slight cheat, I finished my 11th Snow queen hat last night, I put it on the owl last night. I forgot to take a picture last night so this is technically Monday's picture masquerading as Sunday's picture.
Owlsa. Get it?

Deer camp...

298/365

We met up with the boys at deer camp.
I got a text early in the trip that said, " I need to teach the boy that deer camp may not be the best place to preform show tunes."
So funny.
I have a picture of the deer head. Your welcome.
The kids fell asleep about 2 minutes into our departure at 3:30pm
I made the husband pull over so I could get a picture of the Joshua trees.
So tired, So allergic, but so much fun.

Minnie

297/365

Every girl has a favorite accessory.

Kitty Cat...

296/365

The much loved and much snuggled kitty cat.
If I thought my kids wouldn't implode with allergies I would so get them one.

In the hammock...

292/365

I only have a little over two months left in my challenge.
I am not going to lie, I am losing steam.
That being said, I love these pictures.

Reunited...

Back together again.
This girl loves that puppy.

Noodles of veggies...

290/365

I bought a cool gadget that cuts veggies into strings. Cucumber noodles were a hit.

Hide and seek...

289/365

She was helping me count.
Someday the kids will realize you are supposed to stay hidden. Until that day...
Also, I made a peter pan costume today.
Boom!

I went to the store with the twins today. In the soup isle there was a cantankerous sort boldly declaring that he knew why animals in the wild ate their young and that he only had 2 grandchildren thank the goodness above and on and on...
It was irritating. But then I realized that nice comments outnumbered the horrible by a margin of 3 to 1. As I walked by I heard a woman say, "Oh how beautiful, aren't children such a blessing?" Two other people smiled and told me how adorable my children were and how blessed I am. You know what? I am. I really am.

Points of pain...

287/365

Little green triangle block of doom: 1 plus a chunk of my foot
My foot: 0 minus a chunk of my foot.
:(

I attempted to sit serenely in my front yard with my camera and try to catch our humming bird in action. As the cloud of ninja mosquitoes descended I decided to bail on that endeavor. Enjoy the block that crippled me instead.

dirt...

286/365
A day is no kind of day without dirt.

We had to rescue dad from his car's dead battery. We also did a special craft for some special people. I can share later. :)

Night time

285/365

We had a birthday party for Grandma Vivian and my mom. The kids went outside to play red light green light. I went with. Kids always know where the fun is.

These days...

284/365
Someday, I will miss these days.
Ah, these days.
I am so glad I have pictures of all of these days.

I love to see the temple...

283/365

We walked through the new Phoenix temple. It was really beautiful. Don't take toddlers at nap time though. If you do, be sure you go with good friends who help with the lugging of toddlers. You can tell Moonpie was done with the day at this point. He did cheer up enough to let out a loud and impressed "WOW!" when we went into the celestial room. A testament to it's beauty. It could not be denied even by a cranky toddler.
Go see it you won't be sorry.

Train park

282/365

We had a guest photographer. This is the most me I have seen in this project. :)
We took the kids to the train park. We rode the train and the Merry Go Round. The boy was the only one brave enough to sit on a horse though.
Suspicions confirmed that it is too soon for Disney. Doodle was having none of it. None. Zero. We did have fun playing in the park and then we went to eat where there was a play place.
Too much fun in one afternoon!
I took the last one while doodle and I rode the train.

Pumpkin...

281/365
This day. Where to begin with this day?
I went to take the trash out to the curb, the boy wanted to help me.
I ran in to get the key.  The boy decided to water the plants. This scared a nearby lizard. Which prompted Ellie to spring into action and catch said lizard. Ellie ran right into the stream and got a bath moments later.
Then we went to the store. The kids did so so good. Again, everyone with one child had the two child shopping carts, but never fear I had my handy buggy buddy!
The kids wanted these pumpkins and I decided they were so good they could have one. Moonpie thought they looked good enough to eat!

Chaos

280/365
Everybody was happy to celebrate Grandma's birthday.
Added bonus I got my laundry done. My washing machine took to smoking and it's so not attractive. My parents graciously allowed me to do my laundry there and we got to see the pup.
He may have had mixed feelings about the visit.

The air was pink...

279/365
While we were driving up the mountain the air was pink.
The sunset demanded to be documented.
It's not the best but it's still pretty.

outage...

278/365

The power went out right before bed. The kids were a little freaked. I am not sure why all my kids are so scared of life but it reminds me of someone I used to know. ;)
In an effort to make them like power outages we shared some peanut brittle and got the lights we use int he bathtub out to make some magic.
That's a heart by the way.
A great day of conference (the kids did really well) and fun with the family.
Painting with light.

At the teddy bear picnic...

277/365
Moonpie is so not sure about this. This one of our nurses who loved us. :)
They loved the chickens. At one point I saw a chicken peck at Moonpie's mouth and I braced myself for the shocked cry but instead he just smiled at me and said, "chicken kissed me." Yup. That's exaaaaaactly what it did.
If I had a pen full of animals, I think my kids would be happier.
I love the preemie picnic. Not only do we get to hear conference on the drive, and I mean we get to hear it because kids are strapped in their seats and usually quiet. (except when moon pie cried and screamed about being stuck this time.)
We also get to say hi to some of the people who made life possible for these two. What could be better than that?
A pen full of animals, but there was one there so no worries!
I realized too late I am not very good at photographing events. I am usually too preoccupied by who has gone missing and where they went. I should've gotten a picture of the boy playing with my friends little girls. He talked about her all the way home and all afternoon.
*sigh* Oh well, a goal for next year.

Accordion wrestling...

276/365

Today while we waited for the bus the boys wrestled the accordion.
We waited for a good 30 minutes or so.
I practice my ukulele while we wait. It's improved my playing. Practice is funny like that.
We waited some more.
Me: When you guys get older would you like to learn how to play the piano?
Moonpie: Yeah!
The boy: I'd rather learn how to play this. (the accordion)
We might have a loud future.
Still waiting for the bus.
I decided that maybe I should look in his backpack.
Fall break started to day and school pictures were Thursday.
Oops.

Dog days...

275/365
It's hard to believe our dog days are almost over. Come this weekend we will go from 6 dogs to 1 again. The kids are going to miss them so much.
