Generally, one would want to avoid having blown out areas in a photo. I find that in this instance, it helps hide the dirty windows.

A Pixie and her Puppy...
238/365
Doodle got a hair cut. I am still getting used to it. She just looks so different. She's adorable of course, just different. I think I love it. She did so well at the salon.
This is the puppy she named Honey.
Aren't they cute?

This never happens...
230/365
I am never sitting with my camera ready on the right setting when a spontaneous hug comes about. Never.
Until today!
Also, beware of the cute factor.
This is Titus and Honey.
Today Doodle and I were watching the puppies and I asked her what the little girl's name should be and without a hesitation she said, "Honey".
I love it. She's the color of honey so why not?

Playing favorites...
224/365
Because she is the only one who would sleep through the night. Well, if she didn't share her room with a foghorn.
Have I mentioned it's been a rough week?
Saturday I was up all night with a laboring dog. Can I give some advice? Don't read the internet about anything. It's always worse case and it's always panic. The internet is a worry wart and it produces worry warts.
Sunday morning began with a trip to the doggie ER. They wanted $3000 for a c-section. Luckily Ellie started popping out the puppies just in time. Then she popped out dead puppies 3 hours later. Then we checked on her around 3pm and poof one more pup! It was an emotional roller coaster.
Add one slightly feverish girl and stir to combine.
The fever progressed. The kids are trying to visit puppies and I am exhausted. My loudest and most opposed to sleep screamed through the night and woke up with a fever.
Monday we all were just trying to rest and recoup. I cleaned up the most foul of doggie excrement through out the day. I didn't toss my cookies, but I wanted to. Seriously, I know what the bog of eternal stench is made of, I've lived it. Loads of doggie laundry.
Monday night Moonpie spiked a big time fever we got it down got him down to bed. The boy decided he couldn't handle sleeping in his room so that was a rigamarole. Got him back to sleep and foghorn (moonpie) woke up. There was no getting him to sleep. He was hysterical, woke up doodle honey and I was up watching Mickey Mouse with the sun. On the plus side, I got the people laundry done.Yay?
Today we have fevers with horrible rashes, laundry to fold, and I am sleepy to boot.
Getting moonpie to the doc tomorrow and hoping for a sleep filled night, but not counting on it. Those high fevers are no joke, and make it hard for a mama to sleep.
Long week. Tuesday almost over.
*sigh*

Sick day...
223/365
Got the pups into the vet. Got some good information.
The twins have fevers and although I love the snuggles, good golly it's hot with a hot baby or two lounging on you.
Fevers in August should be illegal.

Puppies!
222/365
Ellie had her puppies. 7 total 5 survived. We were up all night. Kids have fevers. It's been the longest day ever. She had 4 waited 2 hours had 2 dead ones and then 4 hours later another one came. Crazy. Mostly I am just happy she is OK and as soon as we can I want her fixed. That was an ordeal.

Food for thought...
219/365
I almost didn't get a picture, but I liked the light and the stillness after a hectic day.
The boy came down with a fever and missed the first day of school. He was so sad.

Last day of vacation...
218/365
We've had a busy week. Grandparents visiting, friends I haven't seen in a while stopping by. It's been fun. School starts tomorrow.
But today we caught our third lizard in the boys room in as many weeks. He held it and caught it like a pro. I am always scared of squishing them. We ate icees and snuggled and watched Mickey and it was great.

Sharing is caring...
216/365
The grandparents are here, and it's August so Apples are here too.
I know pictures of the boy have been sparse, but here's the thing, whenever I get the camera out and point it at him he points his fanny at the camera, shakes it and says, "Take a picture of this!"
So there you go. I will have to get more sneaky to get pictures of him.
National Twin day!
213/365
Internet has been hard to come by. So updates are hard to come by.
This was on national twin day.
Doodle got a new tutu dress.
The boy: Sister! I love your new tutu dress! Would you care to dance?
