In TV land...

I like to think my TV was telling me to have an awesome Friday. I like to think he thinks I am pretty darn cool and deserved a happy greeting to send me off to work this morning.I like to think that my TV loves me, and is giving me a happy off to visit my mom smile. I like to think that, but I think it means I need to clean him.

Thanks Hubs you rock.

GAH! It's snowing. My tulips and lilacs and all my pretty things! WHAAAAAAAAA!

The first day of spring...

I had this need to make something today so I did. I made two things. I got my window out of my basement and...

Made this

Then I decided I wasn't quite done and I made...

This.
Tis time to pack and go get the dogs. I am sad we won't be there long enough to really do anything but it will be good to see the fam even if it's real quick.

Evidence...

Of warmth on the way!

Our first signs of spring in our yard. I also have some lovely large and green tulip leaves popping up and I am so excited!

And a little striped guy just to keep things interesting.

Once there was a snowperson...

A Grecian snow-goddess of goodness and light with frozen half dead leaves flowing in the wind.

We are expecting up to 10 more inches tonight. I didn't think I would miss the kids at school but a whole week without them is tough. They have a way of making the day go by faster. No snow days for me, but the hubs and I had quite a fun time putting together our snow goddess. I dub thee my first official snow person.

My holiday baking has gone horribly awry. It is Symphony bars from me this year. I have never had such trouble with pumpkin rolls. It was not meant to be I guess. NO PUMPKIN ROLLS FOR YOU!

Two more days and three weeks of freedom and a full week of bliss. I am quite excited. Two more snowy blowy days. *sigh*

I will try to get better pictures of the goddess tomorrow in the daylight, or cloud sky light as the case may be.

Umm...Burr?

I woke up to a slightly blustery brisk, clear fall day. My day now looks like this

I do not feel at all prepared for the freezing that will ensue.
