Skagway

162/365
Because of the great goodness of people in our lives we were able to ride the train in Skagway. The stories of the Klondike gold rush were sad and amazing. We had great tour guides and I think of all the towns Skagway was my favorite to just wander around. They preserved many of the original buildings and we learned a lot on the walking tour. The train took us into Canada and then we took the highway back down with a friend of ours who lives up there and does the tours. If you go get Andy to be your guide. He was great. Thank you again!

Added bonus of knowing the tour guide you get pictures together!
 Pitch fork falls.

When we got back to the boat we had reservations at the French restaurant on board. It was really good and we had a great time celebrating. They even had a group come and serenade us while we ate. Awkward, but nice. :)
