Say hello to my little friend...

036/365
First of all, cousins look away. It's a spider and I don't want to ruin your day. OK. Everyone else, proceed. Just to be sure I will start with this. "Mom, I can't really fit your head in the picture." Thanks son. Thanks.

This guy was hanging out on my rosemary plant.

Fresh Squeezed...

035/365
I've got another cold! *throws confetti* So I figured I would get some OJ out of my backyard. Take that cold!

This guy was hanging out on the fence. Not the type of critter you expect in the city.

Another sick day...

034/365

We stayed home sick. Mostly mom was sick. This boy is too but who could tell. I think his mustache is a testament to the staying power of ELF eyeliner. This is after a bath (no scrubbing, just playing) and basically being naughty all day.

Gift from around the World...

033/365

Last week we got a delivery of Christmas gifts from Africa.
The boys got stuffed monkeys and Doodle got a Lion purse with this little doll and a necklace in it. I decided to get a picture before I put her away for safe keeping, and before she was no longer safe. :) I am excited to get back to taking pictures of my kids. Once the green buggers go away maybe we can get back to cute kid pics. I think they are enjoying the break anyway.

Make my week pink please...

032/365

Some weeks you just have to buy yourself pink cheerful flowers. Pink is such a cheerful color. Did you have friends who were very anti pink back in the day? I remember feeling like I had no personality, I was nothing more than a follower because I loved pink and all things girly. I tried not to like it, but look at it! It's glorious! Pink is freaking delightful! It just brightens the day and my home and my life. God loves pink, Sunsets and flowers, and babies cheeks prove it. It's close to godliness.Viva la Rosa!

I had a rough week. One of the roughest in a while. I did my fair share of poor me thinking, I cried a lot, but at the end of the whole ordeal (if it's even over?) I realized that no, I don't have friends super close and yes it would be nice to have some good friends near me, but the good friends, as far as they may be are a treasure. My friends need to be scheduled and planned and we have to work to make sure we see each other or even talk to each other, but we do and they are such a blessing.
So yes, I could work on putting myself out there more. It would be great to have a support system close, but I truly have all that I need because I have the best people and they are never too far away. I am really blessed.

Now, how do you get rid of pink eye (admittedly a bad pink. Opposition in all things and what not) in a hurry? Plagues? How do you get rid of those? Been sick since Christmas and I am over it.
Over it.
