Doodle wanted a tutu, the boys decided that sounded amazing too.

I told the boys that I used to stick the tutu's on my head and pretend to be a lion when I was a kid. They loved that. 

Today was long and fun, and long. 

No naps for the kiddos but lots of dressing up and running through the house. Dancing and begging to swim and singing. They wanted to play outside so bad but it is so blasted hot. Also, exhaustion. 

I am beat.

This little monster was up all night wailing. He woke up his siblings who were wailing and it was quite a task getting them back to sleep. Who wakes up first thing in the morning? This guy and he's dragging jingle bells all over the house to boot.

I want a really good pic of this so this will probably not be my last attempt. Excuse the Ellie head cameo there. Every morning the sugar plum gets up and tries to decide which stuffed creatures will accompany her for the day. It's so funny to watch her look them all over and try to decide.She will grab at one and then change her mind. She usually chooses three. She can barely hold them all and then she wants her milk. It's hard to get down the hall with that haul.

The frog is a favorite, as is Minnie, but it's hard for me to get them all back to bed before the day is over. I just try to get a few in there for the peace of all involved. Love this girl.
